Product Sizes

We feel our products are true to size!!

Size/measurement charts can be found in the photos section of each product (they are usually one of the last product images). We recommend taking your actual body measurements and comparing them to the size chart. The outerwear charts already take into account underlayers. If you don't have a tape measure handy, we recommend using a form of string to measure, marking the string and then measuring it out with a ruler.

 

Washing your DSG Outerwear Items

Most items have tags on them that specify how they should be washed and dried.

In general, items can be machine washed and hung to dry. Some fabrics are "recharged" when when they are dried in the dryer, so an occasional drying on a low setting may be just what your garmet needs.

If you are looking to clean marks off of technical fabric, try Dawn dish soap and a tooth brush (remember to thoroughly rinse the fabric to remove the soap residue). Other products that might work well, and can be found on Amazon, are Nikwax Tech Wash and Granger's Performance Wash. We also have a blog post dedicated to technical clothing care if you'd like further information.

 

When will I get a response to my email or voice message?

We strive to respond to emails and voice messages within one business day (Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central).

Note: During the summer months, there may be a longer response time.

If you contacted us by email and haven't gotten a response from us yet, and it has been more than one business day, please check your Spam folder - it is possible that our response was sent there.

Retailers are listed in alphabetical order by state, with Canadian retailers listed at the bottom. Keep in mind that these retailers generally don't carry our entire line up, so it's best to call ahead when looking for a particular product.

 

Canadian currency questions 

If you are using a laptop or computer, in the top left part of the site, you should see a "Select Currency: xxx" link. If you are using a phone, in the top left part of the site, you should see a drop down menu icon (a black box with 3 white lines). If you click on that, it will open a menu - towards the bottom (typically 3rd from the bottom) you should see a "SELECT CURRENCY: xxx" link. If you are seeing the site in Canadian currency, these xxx's will show CAD. If you are seeing the site in US currency, they will show USD. If you click on the links, you can change the site so it shows in what ever currency you would like. Even if we are showing the site to you in estimated CAD, we will charge your payment method in USD.

Ordering Issues

Issues adding items to my cart

If you are having issues adding items to your cart (can't select size and/or no add to cart button), try switching to a different browser. This might be especially helpful if you are using Internet Explorer (IE).

You might also want to check to see if you allow pop-ups on our site - if pop-ups are disabled, you may not be able to add items to your cart.

 

Issues with my shipping address

Some customers trying to check out using Amazon Pay are having issues with our site accepting their shipping address. If this happens, please try using a different payment method. This usually clears up the issue and you should be able to place your order.

 

My coupon isn't applying to my order

Coupon codes are only good for purchases on our site (www.DSGOuterwear.com). While coupon codes apply to most items on our site, they do not apply to Yeti products, cookbooks, clinics, Busch Light apparel, and some sale items.

I'm not getting free shipping on my order, and I believe I should be

Free shipping applies for product totals over $99 in the US and $199 (USD) in Canada. The product total is calculated after coupons and discounts have been applied.

If you are in Canada, your product total (after any coupons and discounts have been applied) must be over $199 in US currency (not CA currency). Click here to see if you are viewing the site in US currency or estimated CA currency.

 

Canada Only Items

Canada Only Items are items that are in stock only in the Canadian warehouse - they will not ship to US customers. If you are in the US, and you place an order for a Canadian only item, we may have to cancel your order if we are unable to locate one in the US to ship to you.

If you are in Canada, you can purchase Canada Only Items and other items from our website, even if they show that they are located in the US. If the item does happen to be in stock in our Canadian warehouse, we will ship it to you from there. If it is only in stock in our US warehouse, we will ship it from our US warehouse to our Canadian warehouse so we can ship it to you from there (so you don't have to pay any duties/fees). This will usually take an extra week or so, depending on how quickly things move through the border.
