The material is soft and comfy. It is not itchy at all and very breathable. I am a plus size normally 2X and I did have to size up on this. Super cute if you are layering under a tee shirt as well

Perfect base layer
The DSG Merino Wool Base Layers have become my new favorite layering pieces. They fit perfectly and are thin but warm. I highly recommend these! For size reference. I ordered both the shirt and pants in size M and they fit perfectly. I am 5ft 8, 140lbs and my measurements are 38in-28in-38in.

Lightweight
This is a very lightweight Merino wool material. I was actually surprised at how the material was not bulky at all. It is very comfortable and soft.
