Evan Christian Crowned National Champion At Snocross Series Finale
For Immediate Release

Finley, ND (March 30, 2021) - Evan Christian swept his qualifying heats and finished second in Friday night’s main event to secure the ISOC Snocross national championship in the Sport division. Christian entered the weekend with a healthy lead in the standings, however, with 90 points still on the table over the two days of racing, nerves, tension and anticipation were at an all-time high.

Just as he has done over the past several weekends, Evan stayed focused and repeatedly put his FLY Racing/WPS Polaris at the front of the pack, edging closer to the goal with each appearance on the track. Entering the round 15 final, Christian only needed to finish within one spot of his closest rival and when he crossed the line ahead of that rider, the celebration was on.

To complete the season in style, Christian went out on Saturday and swept both of his heat races and won the main event.

Pro Lite racer Evan Daudt also closed out the year on a high note with three heat race wins and two solid finishes in the finals. Daudt was injured early in the season, came back to get a class win at the mid-season point and then continually worked to improve on race-to-race consistency.

During the weekend Daudt was able let his speed speak for itself and eliminate the minor mishaps and collisions that have plagued him throughout the year to finish sixth on Friday and fifth on Saturday.

The finale weekend also saw a unique third day non-points event with Pro Lite and Pro racers squaring off head-to-head in the winner take all $10,000 Dominator race.

With the Sport championship in hand Evan Christian announced his intentions to move to the Pro Lite division by entering the Dominator and immediately setting quick time among all Lites riders. Evan Daudt made it a 1-2 punch for the team as the second quickest rider in timed qualifying.

In the Dominator final, Daudt jumped away near the front of the pack with Christian holding his own among the front row starters. At the finish, both riders represented the team well, finishing fifth and sixth.
